With an ever growing younger generation, ethnic diversity, and a high percentage of unchurched people comes a greater need for unity, peace, purpose, and hope that only our Lord Jesus Christ can offer through His gift of eternal life. Providence Church’s heart-beat is to bring this everlasting hope into the community by desperately depending on the Lord, partnering with other churches, serving the community, modeling biblical fellowship, and empowering others to be missional.
Providence Church will be hosting a 3 Day Prayer Room this month. All are invited to join us at some point to spend time in the room.

This Sunday, May 11th, is Mother’s Day Sunday. There will be NO DINNER at 5pm. Please spend some time with your families and come for the service at 6pm.
In a recent student essay by Rebekah Giffone of PBU, the analogy of newly acquired physical sight is used to describe spiritual sight. “True art,” she states, “serves as a symbol to connect us with a reality that we cannot see with our eyes. It is not the creation of truth, but a new way of pointing to the truth.” She goes on to remind the reader that “Art calls us to accept God’s gift of spiritual sight and submit ourselves as vessels of His glory”. Exactly Rebekah! This is our heart for the arts!

Set-up Crew:
Providence Church is seeking men and women with a desire to help serve by setting up the “overflow” area on Sunday evenings. Set-up usually begins around 4:15/4:30pm, so that it is finished before the meal starts at 5:00.
